The Ripples bench by Toyo Ito, winner of the 2004 Golden Compass, has blossomed into a collection of different furniture complements. Amongst them, we may highlight the Ripples stool, fabricated with a laminated composite of five different solid woods. The seat shape, carved with industrial technology yet entirely hand-finished, feels soft and rich due to both the ductility of wood and Horm’s passion for craftsmanship.
